30 Day Photo Challenge – Day Fourteen.

What a day!

It didn’t start off so great with my Red’s going down 2-1 at Old Trafford. 😦 I then managed to sleep a total of 4 hours before I had to get up for work. The rest of my day was long, to say the least. I didn’t have much time to complete any where near the amount of blog posts I wanted to because I was alone in the office today and had to juggle half a dozen things at once. I wanted to get a start on my photo challenge post but as the last week shows, I’m not getting time until after 9pm.

I had a play around with an old version of Adobe Photoshop Elements tonight with the photo below. I just edited out a few blemishes and played around with the colour with a big emphasis which will be pretty obvious once you scroll down. I’m not sure I like the photo too much but I did have a difficult time trying to photograph today;s topic.

That would be: Eyes

I tried to get a few photos of my dog but she wouldn’t stay still so the only other subject I had to photograph was myself.

I used my Gorillapod, folded around my verandah to get it high enough. I tried taking photos outside to get natural light but it wasn’t greatly sunny so the flash still fired, making me look quite a lot paler than I am.

Here it is.

What do you think? Any suggestions on taking photos of eyes or portraits?
