30 Day Photo Challenge – Day Twelve.

I have been wandering aimlessly around my yard and house this evening to try and get some creative ideas for my next topic. I found a few but they aren’t going to be the greatest so you will have to bear with me.

I’ve had my camera for approx. one month now and haven’t looked at changing the lens just yet. It came with a standard kit lens (Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 18-55mm) and so far, that has been great, until today. The topic for DAY TWELVE is close ups.

Macro Photography is extreme close up photography.  It’s generally used to take photos of smaller subjects and basically enlarge them to be greater than life size.  With a standard kit lens this is difficult.  I cannot just go “shoving” my camera in super close and get it to fire because the focual point is out of range.

HOWEVER, I compromised and under the circumstances, I think they are ok.  I am choosing to call these next few pics close ups, not marco’s. 😉

Enjoy,
C.x
