DAY ELEVEN and I’ve just got home from my photowalk with Trey Ratcliff through the CBD of Melbourne. It was good but I’m so new at photography that I’m not sure what everyone was talking about half the time. However it’s late, so my post tonight will be short.
Today’s topic bought infinite opportunities on deciding a subject. Black and White.
I decided to photograph an accessory of my DSLR that I haven’t spoken about. My JOBY Gorillapod.
They are insanely good. They come out in half a dozen models and colours. They are designed for people who don’t want to have a telescopic tripod and for uneven terrain.
Mine comes with a mini spirit level for perfectly level photos and a ball head connection for rotation (eg: Portrait orientation photos).
I have used it a few times but no serious photography has been taken yet.
Here are a few photos. Maybe I should have taken some B&W ones with my camera on it but nevermind! If you want more information, check out the Gorillapod here.
